The Two most astonishing things for the British who invaded India were:
1) The Indian gurukula system.
2) The Indian agriculture system.
The then Governor of British India Robert Clive made an extensive research on the agriculture system in India.
The outcome of the research was as follows:
1) Cows were the basis of Indian agriculture and agriculture in India cannot be executed without the help of cow.
2) To break the Backbone of Indian agriculture cows had to be eliminated.
The first slaughterhouse in India was started in 1760, with a capacity to kill 30,000 (Thirty thousand only) per day, at least one crore cows were eliminated in an years time.
He estimated that the number of cows in Bengal outnumbered the number of men. Similar was the situation in the rest of India.
As a part of the Master plan to destabilize the India, cow slaughter was initiated.
Once the cows were slaughtered, then there was no manure and there is no insecticide like cow urine.
Robert Clive started a number of slaughter houses before he left India.
A hypothesis to understand the position of Indian agriculture without slaughter houses:-
In 1740 in the Arcot District of Tamil Nadu, 54 Quintals of rice was harvested from one acre of land using simple manure and pesticides like cow urine and cow dung.
As a result of the 350 slaughterhouses which worked day and night by 1910. India was practically bereft of cattle. India had to approach England’s doorstep for industrial manure. Thus industrial manure like urea
and phosphate made way to India.
by Shyamasundara (das) ACBSP (USA)
After India attained independence in the name of “Green Revolution” there was extensive use of industrial manure.
Before British left India. The daily news paper Guardian interviewed India.
To one of the questions Gandhiji answered, that the day India attains Independence, all the slaughter houses in India would be closed.
In 1929 Nehru in a public meeting stated that if he were to become the prime minister of India, the first thing he would do is to stop all the slaughterhouses.
The tragedy of the situation is since 1947 the number has increased from350 to 36,000(thirty six thousand) slaughter houses.
Today, the highly mechanized slaughterhouses Al-kabir and Devanar of Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra has the capacity to slaughter 10,000(ten thousand) cows at a time.
It’s a warning signal to one and all in India to rise to the occasion!!!

First we should worry about the millions of people living in streets and shanty towns and those people being told by our ministers to eat rat meat to survive before we star worrying about the cows.

Blind leading a blind, what would be the fate of such a nation but this? When we begin solving a problem independently, without bothering to know the root cause for that problem, we will find ourselves continuously trapped in that mire. The very reason, as rightly pointed out by Madhava Ghosh prabhu is “cow slaughter”. Every action has got equal and opposite reaction. This is just not science law, but also law of nature. We are paying the price of our misdeeds. It cannot be helped.. So, if we are really worried about those people, we should help them come out of ignorance and help cow protection and go-seva. It might help the society at large to come out of this suffering.

The reason they are living in the streets and the shantytowns is because the cows were slaughtered by the British and the villagers were forced into the cities.

deep and fantastic answer – to the root cause
August 31, 2008 at 10:41 am
In India, cows are slaughtered for the sole reason that the muslims want the cows slaughtered. It is meritorious for muslims to do that which is held sacred or holy my Kafirs. Hence, the cow slaughter, not because Islam prescribes cow slaughter as meritorious or that beef should be eaten by Muslims. The government in India, which crawls instead of bending to appease Muslims dare not ban cow slaughter, though cows are a vital part of rural economy.

IT is the same genocidal tactic, killing off the cows.
August 18, 2009 at 3:11 pm
Hi!
Just for your information, Al Kabir slaughter house is owned by an NRI Subhash Sabarwal and Satish Sabarwal. It is heart wrenching to know that the people following Hinduism, instead of respecting cows are making money by killing the same creature. Something is wrong with their up bringing. Or may be Money is GOD these days.

Dear Mr. Mukul Mishra,
Can you send me a list of the owners of major slaughter house in India???
I totally disagree that money is not GOD.

August 30, 2009 at 9:14 am
More we try to know the about the reasons responsible for the unreasonable increase in the number of slaughter houses in ‘independent’ India, the more painful astonishing facts await us. It is like opening a can of worms… It is a conspiracy, political conspiracy to eternalize India’s slavery to West’s policy of materialism and mammon worship. Sadly, the politicians are successful as the general people are turning more ignorant and immune, gathering themselves in the selfish cocoon of just their own individual happiness. They do not realize that nobody can be an independent individual, however tiny we are a part of BIG network and this is sensitive to the slightest imbalance that we bring in the natural set-up. Smallest of the action has its reaction; and we are paying the price for that.

Well articulated.

Many times I come across queries like “what is so special about cow. Cow is also after all an animal, why do we need to differentiate?”
As a human being we are supposed to be more intelligent and with more responsibility. Like there are many plants and trees, but tulasi has special significance; there are many planets and stars, but sun has special significance, there are many women around but place of a mother is a significant and a different one; similarly there are many animals, but cow is a special one. It has its spiritual significance. As a human being, using our intelligence we are expected to exercise our discriminatory powers and accordingly accord due respect. A few may question the basis of selection of this special place. Well, with our limited intelligence and manufacturing defects of (propensity to cheat, propensity to err, defective sense organs, and forgetfullness)we are not in a position to decide that. In this situation we need to take guidelines from something that is above these defects. And this has to be “GOD”. that is why we are guided by HIS Words, the scriptures. And scriptures say that cow needs to be protected, worshipped, and revered. PERIOD.

Hi,
all this is ok,
but what i understand is that the cow take care is done widely by hindus, and not by muslims.
its we the hindus who sell them for money, if we have an control over them what will the slaughter houses do
September 15, 2010 at 4:31 am
I have seen the agriculture selling the buffalos to slaughter house once the cultivation is over, the stupid reason for this is that he has to feed it for next 9 months, now he is free selling the grass and get extra money.
we the hindus now a days have become so selfish, when there is cow standing infront of temple we worship it (no need to feed that) but why an useless cow at our home is soled.
when we see a monkey in temple we worship it but we poison the same monkey that enters our field.
its nothing but selfishness.
December 29, 2010 at 2:40 pm
I have researched myself, Gomutra and Gobar has more mineral contents than all Revital type mineral supplements together. First we moved these inputs from our food chain by moving them out of our agriculture and now we spend money on these artificially synthesized vitamins and mineral supplements which are less than 10% effective compared to natural variety…

If we see a murder or rape or kidnap incident in TV news, everybody will feel sorrow. what is the difference in between the life of human being and an innocent animal? Daily some lakhs of innocent animals, birds, sea lives were killing by mercy less human beings. As per the Vedas concerned and Hindu Dharma whenever the weight of sin increases enormously, God will smash the earth including all living creatures to create a new planet. As per the predictions of Nosterdomos, Veera Bramham and Myan calender that time will come soon. However, for every disease there will be some symptoms to identify and to take treatment to that disease, as if God is passing some symptoms to the human beings in the form of Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Floods etc. to alert the human beings from doing sins like slaughtering of innocent living creatures. If the human beings neglected those symptoms of God definitely, God will do the reaming work.

Mere Words do not heal the Evil Caused.. We all should rear / shelter atleast one Cow or if not possible at our Home, we can donate in the nearest Gaushala.. Also the Opposition Against Cruelty towards Animals should be Spread Like Wild Fire..! Everything which is created on the cost of damaging the Fauna & flaura should be Self – Banned..

It is nice to note activity in this section. I wish to use this website as a forum to share a piece of good news with all the readers. We have been able to begin our new year with the auspicious arrival of mother cow, named as Surabhi. She was rescued last Bakrid by a few volunteers and now she surprisingly came to us as a part of go-daan. She is so lovely and affectionate, as if straight from goloka. I wish I could share her pictures with all of you. Her mere presence has made our lives more simplified and ‘grounded’. Now I actually feel that every house is incomplete without the wonderful mooing sound of a cow. Last year I had released a small book called “Gosamvardhan”, which offered an insight into the ambience that helped cow protection in traditional India vis a vis modern set up. It was a nice literature with foreword written by HG Balbhadra prabhu (Minister for Global Cow Protection -ISCOWP) and Introduction by His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami, an ardent cow lover. Though priced reasonably at just INR 40/-, we have been finding it difficult to share and spread the information and recycle the laxmi for go-seva by creating awareness about mother cow. It is a misconception that they live on donation. Every creation comes with its share of food required for sustainability, especially mother cow who is so dear to the Lord. If we do something, it is just that we choose ourselves to be the tools in the hands of the Lord in writing His wish. Cow is one of the seven entities who can support complete creation, who are we to support her? She supports us.

Poor Indian Muslims eat cows meat because they cannot afford sheep/goat meat. But the greedy, cunning and miser marwaris the owners of Al-Kabir has invested crores of rupees to run fully mechanised slaughter houses to slaughter cows almost on daily basis. If you Hindus are so daring and so much care for your religion then slaughter all rich marwaris who have share in Al-Kabir and spare poor Muslims…….Al-Kabir is a limited company where all Jains, Guptas and Agarwals have share………
May 14, 2012 at 2:02 am
Dear Sayyid nice to see you active on this forum though I may not agree with your views.
You say – “Poor Indian Muslims eat cows meat because they cannot afford sheep/goat meat.”
Reply: Material state of anybody does not license one to perform abominable activities. Simply because one is poor does not means they can kill and eat anything and anybody. If this is the case that day is not far off when people would also justify killing of their own children or foetuses citing their inability to take care of their children because of poverty. Further, it is ultimately the Lord who takes care of everybody (regardless of their religion). If one is surrendered to Him, I am sure He will take care of “poor muslims” too.
Still if one feels so compelled by the material situation to eat a sacred animal like cow, one can wait for her to die naturally rather than killing them. No body has the right to take the life of any creature if they cannot give one.
You say- “But the greedy, cunning and miser marwaris the owners of Al-Kabir has invested crores of rupees to run fully mechanised slaughter houses to slaughter cows almost on daily basis.”
My reply: I condemn them as much as condemn those who eat cow meat citing different excuses. One cannot be called a Hindu just because they are born in a particular family. One should practise the principles in their lives. Further, to kill somebody indiscriminately is not the act of a wise man. Just because one stray Jain or Marwari has done this heinous act does not mean their community needs to be wiped out. Intelligence means discrimination- discrimination between right and wrong, between sinner and innocent.
Can we justify killing of all muslims simply because one muslim guy (Kasab) was a terrorist and killed so many people in Bombay. I am sure even you would not agree to it.
You say: If you Hindus are so daring and so much care for your religion then slaughter all rich marwaris who have share in Al-Kabir and spare poor Muslims…….Al-Kabir is a limited company where all Jains, Guptas and Agarwals have share…”
My reply: To kill somebody is not an act of daring as you term. Violence is the last step when all other doors of reestablishment of religion have been closed. Further killing is never for self-aggrandisement but to establish dharma. And what is dharma? Dharma is to serve the Lord as His menial servant. Even Lord Krsna instructed killing of Kauravas, but it was not for anykind of pleasure or show some daring. This option was taken when all the doors of peace had been tried and had failed, while the miscreants torture was rising continuously. The Mahabharat war took place to please the Lord and to reestablish the principles of dharma.
Rich or poor, cow slaughter is a very heinous sin under all circumstances. It has to be condemned strongly.
By the way, it is making me curious to know that you have done so much of research about Al-Kabir’s share holders etc, which is though quite big is just one among so many. Kindly furnish me the list of other slaughterhouses too with these kind of details. I need it for my personal research activities.

Dear Dr Vrinda Baxi,
Your sharp replies to what Sayyid said is very apt. But, it is a point here that we the Hindus, should make efforts for closure of Al-kabir Slaughter House and many others existing in India. Further, even though cow slaughter is banned in Andhra Pradesh and some of the states, the same is not enforced. No Hindu bothers to complain to the authorities or take steps to implement the provisions of law. The Hindu organisations like VHP, RSS etc. are also not taking any steps in this directio, as far as my knowledge goes. Please look into the aspects of how best the cow protection could be done by one all.
Thank you,
BDN RAO.

we can eat cow becuause it has many protiens for us GOD is great that we can have nutrients from cow and many doctors and specialists agree with this comment

Mr Pankaj…. If nutrition is the only criteria, you can eat your family members too. They are also full of nutrition. Scientists will agree to it. GOD is great. He has given you food quite close.

Here there is a sheer need to remind you about the “Golden egg laying Goose story” . But here its COW . In nature no duck lays golden eggs nor any animal is there that makes you rich until and unless it is a cow. Have the privilege to enjoy its nutritious products and enjoy life long . Don’t be greedy and foolish.
June 21, 2012 at 1:42 pm
Hello Pankaj,
Human stool has more proteins than cow’s meat. You can enhance the flavor with some soy proteins and some red top coloring to give it a boost. You can then eat the feces all by yourself and remain high on proteins whole life. All the best !!

Mohan Reddy

MR. MOHAN REDDY,
well done ,its a very nice suggestion given by u to pankaj jain. I really appreciate it.you can rather suggest him to go for cow dung which contains even more protein (& other necessary element for human body growth) than beef.

TODAY whole wold is going towards downwards due to wrong action taken by them including INDIA. This articles gives the breaking our system of INDIANS independence to DEPENDENCE ON THE ENGLAND / AMERICA / EUROPE even after getting independence.
The young generation has to find out its ways and to stop slaughterhouse which creates more than 100 Lacs new jobs and independent growth of the persons who does not have even the house, it give the bread and butter to so many families.
We find out the path for reducing the poverty inspite of the ways are before us. There is needs to create awareness which gives much better result within 1 to 3 years.

http://www.science-nature-religion.com – cow killers can be made devoid of their heads as per 1 sloka in an article on this website
October 2, 2012 at 8:09 am
Dear BDN Rao ji,
Yes, you are correct in your observation that Hindus should react strongly against the slaughter houses. While there is a rising immunity towards the welfare of mother cow at the same time very unfortunately the government machinery seems to be drawn in favour of “slaughterhouse civilization”. A few years ago there was a demonstration against the existing and to stop the new ones from starting, the government blocked all the entries to the state and dictatorially captured all of them… So much happened…but the bottomline is we cannot sit quietly.
It is also worth thinking, from where are the slaughterhouses getting the cows? hindus are more than ready to sell them. the farmers want tractors not the bulls, people want to have a dairy culture which is against the spirit of cow protection, we want chemical fertilizers in the farm not the cow dung, we do not want to live in the village, we find cities more developed and a comfortable place to live in. Unless we change this mental make up, mother cow cannot be saved. Those who know the importance of cow, they should go far and wide to spread awareness and spiritual revolution. That is the only hope…
I am glad that you raised this topic…

Dr Vrinda

A few days ago, I read in one of the blogs of Karsevaks that 30,000 cows were slaughtered on the eve of Bakrid during 2011. Ever since, it was lingering in my mind how best we could stop such a bad thing since cow is our God. I am afraid, the same thing is going to happen this year too on 27.10.2012 (Bakrid). I, therefore, look forward Hindu religious people & organisations to raise their voice against cow slaughter in a predominenly Hindu country. I am also of the strong view that without protecting the cows our poojas or Gita Parayanas performed daily are not complete enough for attaining salvation. To begin with, the law enforcing agency should be given strict directions to ensure that no cow or calf will be slaughtered on the occasion and peole should form voluntary groups everywhere and be vigilant to report to the agency any suspected unlawful activity in the area.
Today, I have gone through the recommendations (numbering 50) of the National Commission on Cattle (July 2002) under the chairmanship of shri Dharampal. I was too happy to read those recommendations and thought there is nothing more one could suggest, since the Commission has taken care of everything needed for protecting the cows. One should definitely read those findings, which are available on the website of the Dept. of Anhimal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Agri., GOI. The address is http://dahd.nic.in/ch2/chap8.htm The entire report can be accessed on the page http://dahd.nic.in/nccrep.htm If one has no time or patience, alteast should read the Note of the Chairman which is a supplement to the Report. It gives us an understanding how the cow slaughter started in India and is perpetrated even till now and how defective the objectives of our Animal Husbandry Dept. are framed i.e., production of quality meat for export purpose by producing healthy animals etc. The recommendations of the Commission are idealistic, though it has not taken shape of a comprehensive law. Some of these suggestions/recommendations can be implemented by the society at large, even though, no Govt. support exists. If like-minded people join this blog, we can start discussing them to see that the objectives are carried forward and make the cow protection a mass movement. Let us draw inspiration from the call given recently by H.H.Sri Paripoornananda Swamiji for construction of Vakuladevi Temple at Tirumala and stopping illegal mining activity there which has evoked sufficient response. Let us draw support of such Swamijis in this movement also. Let us hope for the best.

Mr. Francisca Adule, I know certain spiritual truths are too subtle for you to understand as one who takes meat, his thoughts and intelligence are steeped in rajo (passion) and tamo (ignorance) gunas. Yet, I am making an effort. Do you see animals or other living beings as mere source of proteins for your bodily nutrition or do you some other higher guidelines to lead your life. If it is the first option, you are no different than an animal who cannot thinking beyond eating, sleeping, mating and defending. Then i see no hope except some divine intervention to change you. But if your option is for the second one, there is little hope. If you have some guidelines, then please accept the guidelines given by the Lord, who is the creator of complete creation that you see and even that you are not able to see around you. It is sensible to refer to the User Manual (not your faulty intelligence to use a new gadget), as it is the maker of that gadget who knows the best way to use it. Similarly it makes sense to refer to the Lord’s (the creator of the complete universe/creation) USER MANUAL for living our life on this planet as it is only HE who knows the best. The Lord knows what human beings should take to take care of their health and not your mind. Bhagavad-gita is the user manual given by the Lord to us. Please refer to that for living your life. According to that manual, you are not supposed to derive proteins from animals or eggs as you think. Your opinion or anybody’s opinion who has defective intelligence is of no consequence, the only opinion that matters is what the Lord says. So please refer to that.
Not just that, I wish you luck that you do not come across anybody who shares your opinion. He/She may consider you also a good source of protein according to their intelligence.

Animals cannot escape hellish torments in the slaughter trade. The lack of blanket ban on cattle is what encourages all evils. The partial bans with varying degrees across states pragmatically turn out to be a severe curse to cows and bullocks. They are illegally transported to those states where their slaughter is allowed. Their legs are broken, tortured so severely to prove them incapacitated and get slaughter certificate. There are several shocking articles and videos scattered throughout the net; so barbaric; by seeing a few of them the urge for a blanket ban on cattle slaughter is not something unreasonable. Can’t cattle have some peace in their life after serving mankind very hard throughout their life ? How can we do this to them ?
Any effort to free them from their hellish fate of “cruelty” imposed by man”kind” would be the highest service to God.

——There are billions of people who call themselves “Christians”.—–
However, the sad fact remains that majority of these so-called Christians hold inaccurate and false beliefs about Christ.—
———- In this post, let me share with you 7 of the most popular false teachings about Jesus Christ.———-
—-1) -False teaching no. 1: He died to free us from keeping the law:
Most Christians would claim that we don’t have to follow the commandments of God since all we need is love. Sad to say, this has led many to confusion. Let us hear what Jesus has to say:
“Do NOT think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to FULFILL. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever DOES and teaches them, he shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:17).
Jesus, Himself, said that He did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. He came to the world to magnify the law. So instead of just keeping the letter of the law, He commanded all His followers to keep its Spiritual intent.
This is the main reason that He explains in the later verses of Matthew 5 that adultery is also lusting towards women; killing is also hating one’s brother; and so on and so forth.
The plain truth is this: Jesus died to save us from the penalty of the law which is death, but He did not die so that we are free to violate the law.
